Crop farming is the most important activity in Andalusia. Most fertile soils are used for dry crops.
  • The main dry crops are olives, cereals and sunflowers.
  • The irrigated crops are vegetables, rice and cotton plants, especially in the Guadalquivir River Basin.
  • Also, there are greenhouses in coastal areas.
