Thermal and nuclear power stations take advantage of the force the water steam to produce electricity.

  • In the thermal power stations coal, gas or petroleum are burned to warm up the water.
  • In the nuclear power stations a mineral called Uranium is used to obtain steam.
    These power stations produce a lot of electricity, but they can contaminate nature.
