The Guadalquivir river is the longest and fastest flowing river in Andalusia. It is born in the Béticas Mountain ranges, it flows along the Autonomous Region and its mouth is in the Atlantic Ocean (Sanlúcar de Barrameda).
Its most important tributary is
the Genil river.
