More than 2000 years ago, the Romans constructed many cities. They had wide and straight streets. In addition to houses, Roman cities had other constructions, like temples, theatres, walls, aqueducts...
The Roman cities communicated with each
other through stone highways called Roman roads.
The Romans also constructed bridges to cross the
rivers.
